Well it’s that time of year again for our winter social and elections… already! We are going to try a new location this time for our little get-togethers: the Kress Gallery Downtown! We’ve been racking our brains (and anyone that will listen to us) for a new spot, and this location seems to offer the most for our group. If you can handle the parking, we’ll handle the space rental.
The Kress Gallery is located on the 3rd floor of the River Park Square Shopping Mall, just east of the Movie box office and behind the food court. It’s a nice quiet space, has tables and chairs (there may be a slight shortage of chairs with only about 70 in the gallery -bring one along if you absolutely need to sit), free Wi-Fi, and artwork to appreciate! Grab some dinner in the food court and then bring it on in to the Gallery. We have it reserved for the entire evening.
We’ll start at 6pm, with the first hour for socializing, eating and bidding on the silent auction items. Then we’ll show a really neat slide show, go over some announcements and open up for discussion, and then do the elections –yep, time for me to step down and for someone else to step up!
Just wanted to add that you don't need to be a WSGA member to come to the party -this is open to everyone, and new cachers and families are especially encuraged to attend!
