Geocache Description:

I have re-enabled this cache with much trepidation, because of the hue and outcry from those who've found it. After discovering that one of my dear caching buddies met with disaster encountering the wizard, it was disabled. I continually monitored the situation in the area; I am willing, under coercion, to enable the cache, but I implore you: DO NOT SEARCH FOR THIS CACHE!!

Before embarking on this epic journey, please equip yourself with all your safety gear...climbing ropes, hard hat, flashlight, gloves, protection from wild creatures, extra food and water, vehicle camo and any other items you think might be necessary. [Added 8-28-09: long pants are a good idea!]

This is a two-part cache; collect the clues at each step, then proceed to Stage One. There you will discover how to access the cache.

The listed coordinates are for a place to park your vehicle at the start of the journey. You must follow the below instructions and directions to the letter to be able to locate the final cache. I've included notes from my ordeal in placing this cache, so you know what you might expect from each step in the journey.

The steps are as follows:

When I first arrived here to park, there were hordes of alien transports gathering, and I had to disguise my vehicle to fit in. Count how many transports can park here at any given time (= A).

34*51.782, 106*42.268 -- Thankfully there's water available here for filling canteens in preparation for the journey that lies ahead. Note the handle color (= B).

34*51.781, 106*42.287 -- I crossed the abyss to this location, and was thrilled to find a sign using a language I could understand. Please note how many words follow Instruction #1 on this sign (= C).

34*51.759, 106*42.266 -- I was able to escape from the evil trolls to the underworld, where I was trapped for 3 days, through this portal...please record the 5 digit number found on this portal to the underworld (= D).

As of 6-5-2010: The following task, in brackets, must now be skipped--the wizard has entranced the griffins, who now can shift their shapes, and are altogether too frightening. Skip this instruction:[34*51.766, 106*42.262 -- Alas, upon exiting the portal, wild griffins picked up my scent; however, I was able to enter a protected area at this spot. What else is protected here? (W___H___)(= E)]

Instead, for 'E', venture near to the building's entrance (careful, there's evidence that foul odors occasionally emanates from this evil portal) to find a sign bearing a round logo "Preserving Rural America" (alas, my geobuddy was not preserved..). Please note the last 4 digits on the sign. (=E)

34*51.780, 106*42.269 -- These woods allowed me to rest with the gentle forest nymphs before the next arduous task to encounter the wizard. How many trees are in this row (= F)?

34*51.804, 106*42.261 -- The climbing gear was used at this location. At 50 feet in the air, I was able to overcome the wizard that lives here. If you can make this climb and defeat the wizard, please note the 4 numbers you find at the top (= G).

After climbing down, rest a bit before going to the preliminary stage, where you will find instructions as to what to do with the answers (A-G) you have collected. Once rested, go to 34*51.766 106*42.242 (the southernmost one) to obtain instructions on how to proceed to find the cache.
