Skookum Bear: As the cache owner has not indicated that they have visited the cache location to replace it if it was missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within a reasonable amount of time, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities. Geocache Description:

These coordinates lead of you to a beauty veiw of Lady Franklin Rock near the gateway to the Fraser Canyon. Cross tracks near Yale Creek Bridge on to Toll Road.

I have hidden the cache in a plastic container with ftf and stf certificates. Beware cachers of the terrain surrounding the cache as there are steep banks that drop directly down to the Fraser's "Dead Man's Pool". From the cache location you will have a perfect view of Lady Franklin Rock and during the summer months you will be able to view mountain goats on the mountian side just across from the veiw point. Happy Cacheing !
Lady Jane wife of Sir John Franklin , who was lost in the Arctic during his search for the North West Passage , stopped by in Yale on a tour and was very taken with a narrow passage in the Fraser River at Yale . The pass was close to a large rock sitting in the middle of the river which is now referred to as Lady Franklin Rock . The road leading to the rock is a section of the Cattiboo Waggon Road built in the 1860's . Visit the Historic Yale Museum for more history on this area.
