WHY:
We have recently noticed that there seems to be a good number
of geocachers out and about in the area and this would be a
good way to get together to meet everyone to say “HI”.
It will also be a great time to do some “cache
chatting”. We think that this location will allow
cachers from several areas, including NC, to be able to come
and meet other cachers. This gathering is for everyone;
those who haven’t started caching but want to know what it’s
about, cachers just beginning, the very experienced cachers,
and anyone in between that wants to have fun and learn
more.
WHEN:
Saturday February 10, starting at 1 pm.
WHERE:
Firebonz, which has your typical BBQ fare of chopped meat, sliced
meat, rib meat and chicken meat. They also have steaks, sandwiches,
a salad bar and other lighter dishes. Kids 12 & under meals
$3.99
WHAT TO
BRING: Bring your appetite most of all along with your
geocaching stories! Bring your travel bugs, geocoins, and

share.
If anyone is interested also, I will have some of the South
Carolina geocoins on hand for purchasing.
DOOR
PRIZES: We will have a few door prizes for the event and if
anyone else wants to donate something please let Paula Rinke
know. We welcome TB’s for exchange or “pick up”.
SMALL
