Geocache Description:

Johnathan and Cobalt


1worleybird, the original cache owner, is Jonathan Worley. He moved from Wetumpka, Alabama in the summer of 2008 to pursue a life of living in nature and being as close to God as he could. He found that life at Triple Creek Ranch in Darby, Montana as a Wrangler. Jonathan was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, an earnest student of God's word, and was an avid hiker and naturalist. He left this world to gain his reward in Heaven on November 2, 2009. The cache has since been adopted with the help of his family because this was one of his favorite spots and he was proud of it.

Located on the Coosa river just below lake Jordan. To get to the starting point go past swayback parking area and take dirt road on left. Follow it to the boat ramp. Follow trail downstream. The trail gets steep towards the end so good footwear would help.
