For my first hide I decided to incorporate another of my passions besides geocaching. I grew up in Syracuse, New York and therefore became a huge fan of Syracuse University athletics, particularly basketball, football and lacrosse. My heroes growing up were guys like Louis Orr, Leo Rautins, Pearl Washington, and Sherman Douglas (basketball); Art Monk, Joe Morris, Robert Drummond and Don McPherson (football); Gordon Mapes, Paul and Gary Gait and Charlie Lockwood (lacrosse). If you can identify all of these names you may be able to locate this cache without any outside assistance (i.e. internet research). Cache is not at posted coordinates. In order to find the cache you will need to answer the following questions (if you have trouble finding the answers try the hint):

Related to the theme of this cache, " The Express" is a great movie starring Rob Brown as Ernie Davis and Dennis Quaid as Coach Schwartzwalder. It is now out on DVD. I grew up with this story and am glad the rest of the world is getting to know the wonderful story of Ernie Davis. You can check it out here:
