Pegan Hill is located in Natick and Dover. The recommended access
is from the north on Pegan Lane off Pleasant Street in Natick.
A classic glacial drumlin, Native Americans believed that these
type of hills were magical places because they provided views of
where the land met the sky.
Another nice walking trail that takes you up to the highest point
in Natick (410 ft). On the way to the cache you will pass a
benchmark (denoted Pegan Hill) that is just off the trail. There
are also three reference markers located around the benchmark.
Updated May 15,2010 Using a metal detector, I located the 3
reference disks today.
Any significant snowfall would make this cache difficult to locate.
You will need to bushwhack about 100 feet from the trail. The cache
is located in a large rectangular lock & lock with a camoed
top..
