Geocache Description:

Osprey House Environmental Centre is situated close to where Ospreys regularly roost and nest in trees on the upstream left bank of the Pine River.

The natural and created habitats create a peaceful sanctuary and surround community facilities where visitors may enjoy the abundant wildlife. Boardwalks lead visitors through terrestrial habitats and those of the littoral (intertidal) zone, such as mudflats, mangroves, open eucalypt forest and saltmarsh flats. There is also a bird hide where birdwatchers may view a variety of local and migratory waders and sea birds.
