Cache is in a medium
size air tight plastic container. It is hidden under some
rocks - please re-hide carefully as this location may be visited
by non cachers and wolves. This cache was placed by
ascending the gulley from below and then some light scrambling
to get to the cache (harder in the winter with snow
coverage). One could also likely approach this cache from
above (but that wouldn't really be in the spirit of copying the
efforts of the original placement team ( :-) )
Due to the nearness of a
cliff face, GPS reading may be difficult. I took 500 readings
and the GPS reported the accuracy as 3.0m. Your mileage may
vary.
Depending upon the
season, some light scrambling (short but steep) is required to
reach the cache. While it is unlikely that much snow would
cover the cache itself, the ledges you cross to reach it could be
icy. Be careful!
The cache initially
contains:
- Log book (+ pens,
pencils, eraser, sharpener)
- Dickens the Travel
Bug
- Tim Hortons Gift
Certificate
- First to Find
certificate (with unautographed, unauthorized photograph of Dickens
the Pub on 7th)
