Geocache Description:


I found this Nature Wilderness area, while on the search for the somewhat-nearby Rattlesnake Cactus Garden, because of an error in inputting the coordinates for Stage 2 of that one. Because of the name of this area, I had trouble convincing myself that that cache wasn't out there SOMEWHERE. This cache is now in place, so that if anyone else has fumble fingers in entering coordinates, you still can find a cache.

When you log this find on-line, please tell me how many "shots" it took for you to hit the target. Container is a medium sized Gatorade bottle.

Be sure to replace the ammo/cammo back into the cache in the approximate order it came out, to make the difficulty remain the same for the next finder.

Caution: Please watch your children and pets. The Shooting Range is just to the North of this cache. Although the Shooting Range is fenced off, please be aware of the activities going on in this area. Someone has been using the cache area for target practice. In fact, right at the entrance to the path, is where I collected the special inner "cache camouflage containers". If there is an active Shooting Rally going on when you get there, you might want to postpone your search for a quieter, calmer day & time.
