As Time Permits Again Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

gsmX2: Sadly, the new Pay and Display machine does not print a permit to use as a log. That's what made the cache unique. There isn't a way around this, so I am archiving this cache and will use the Pay and Display Machine as the first stage of a two-stage multi.

Sad Day.

Geocache Description:

It's back, easier than ever, but still a unique way to log a cache.

Two things set this cache apart from the rest.

  1. It's will be among the easiest caches you ever find.
  2. The unique way to log your find

The coordinates will take you to the "Pay and Display" parking machine. Simply push the top button to retrieve a "One Hour Free Parking Permit." Instead of your license number, type as much of your geocaching name as you can.

If time permits, park in a marked parking space for up to an hour. If you want to take a walk and explore, display your permit face-up on the driver's side of the dashboard.

When you are done, write any notes on the permit.  There is a magnetic wedgie/flatty/slim jim geocache container on the back of the black post the Pay and Display machine is mounted to. If the machine is Out of Service, sign any piece of paper and slide it into the wedgie. Occasionally, I'll pick up the logs. I have the stack of them at my home.
