Motorway Mayhem M4 J32 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Write and Mane: Despite what last log indicates, the cache was still there.
However, the cache contents were thoroughly wet and this cache has become a maintenance liability - so, sadly, goodbye!

Geocache Description:

This is one of the series of caches designed to break up a tedious journey. In line with the series ethos, this cache is located adjacent to the services at the motorway junction and should be easily found. The cache is a plastic lunch box

Junction 32 (the Coryton Interchange) of the M4 has a filling station and an Asda store providing other service facilities. The interchange boasts one of the largest roundabouts, containing a maintenance depot, the regional traffic management centre and a maze of footpaths! The cache, which is located within the roundabout, is about 100 metres from the nearest accessible road, with roadside parking close by.
THERE HAVE BEEN WORRYING COMMENTS IN SOME LOGS, SO CAN WE MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THERE IS NO PUBLIC VEHICULAR ACCESS TO THE CENTRE OF THE ROUNDABOUT AND IT SHOULD NOT BE NECESSARY TO CLIMB OVER FENCES.
It should be possible to do this cache in a 10-15 minute break from your journey. Unfortunately, the original ammo box suffered repeated interference and then disappeared altogether. The March 2008 replacement uses a smaller box and a new location. This should prove easier to approach, but is in a more open area. Discrete finding and logging and careful camouflage on re-hiding will be appreciated. This cache and that at Junction 30 provide clues for a bonus puzzle cache, Motorway Mayhem M4 J31. You will need to record the code letters on the back of the Log Book in this cache.
