Welcome to the
Welland Arms
Built by the United States Armed forces in what was estimated to
be the late 1960's or early 1970's for much more serious reasons,
The Welland Arms has been completely renovated and developed into
much more peaceful means. Certainly with styling and service like
you can expect at The Welland Arms, it is destined to become a
Niagara Region Landmark.
Located near the historic Welland Canal, The Welland Arms is
located near a major North-South Highway and will provide a
convenient stopping off point for Travel Bugs, Geocoins and other
trackables as they travel across Niagara.
Of standard dimensions, The Welland Arms is built of grey steel
in the style popularized by Irish of the Groundspeak Nation. The
exterior styling is a prime example of the fine craftmanship of
JWID.
The Welland Arms, which is now owned by the geocaching team JWID
of Welland, has been restored during January of 2007 to reflect the
"privileged life" of its esteemed guests. As all inn travelers
know...the rich history and charm of staying at a beautiful inn is
truly special.
At the time of the Grand Opening in January 2007, the initial
