Geocache Description:

Time to Explore!

San Juan Capistrano is a wonderful town for so many reasons; two of the reasons are the extensive trail system, and the abundant old trees. The TERRA tree registry has 3 champions listed in SJC: Pepper, Avacado, and Sycamore. We have haunted trees, trees with history, big trees... This is the FOURTH in the family's SJC TNT (Totally Noticeable Trees) series.

Parking may be a little tricky for this one but the place is nice and even has benches for you to sit. Update: There is now parking available near the cache area!

Not sure why there's a big palm tree and a little palm tree in the middle of all those oaks but there you have it. If you explore the area, you'll see that all the Oak Trees were planted for a reason... But I'll let curiosity drive you to search out where the plaque is so you can find out.

You are looking for a small container camouflaged to hopefully keep it hidden from local muggles. PLEASE Be Careful when retrieving and replacing the cache!

The cache original contents include: a stretchy little frog, a bug tattoo, "FTF Dinosaur" for whoever gets First to Find and a log book. I couldn't find a pen small enough so please bring your own pen ^_^

Also, if you stop by Mission San Juan Capistrano say hi to Colombian Princess (aka Liz) at Guest Services when you come in! I'd love to say hi to local and visiting geocachers!

Update 3/19/15

Ahead of the weekend celebrating the Swallows return I've replaced to log!
