The Conman: I was finally able to locate the ammo box under 1 foot of water. My previous 4 attempts to locate it first was met by ice and very cold and murky water.
Being this is my frist cache it has a lot of meaning to me and I hate to archive it. However, when it was originally placed it was in a nice wooded area. That wooded area was razed to make space for a new housing development. With the help of a good friend, fishing0023, we were able to locate it with the aid of a metal detector.
Seeing there is a house within sight of ground zero - I figure this cache has had its time.
Cache has been removed.
