"Bowling Green Style - NWOGEO Meet & Eat Special"
!
Please note that this special
event will pre-empt our usual monthly Meet & Eats held in
Findlay and Maumee for the month of March only! Our regular twice
monthly M&E events will resume in April!
Come alone, bring a friend,
bring the family, plan on dinner or just grab a coffee, it’s all
casual. Stay all evening, stay an hour, stay 10 minutes, or just
open the door and say "Hi", it’s up to
you. |
| WHO |
Anyone who caches in the NW Ohio area, whether you are
new, experienced, or just want to know more about geocaching. Not
from the NW Ohio area? You are of course welcome
too! |
| WHY |
Meet and mingle with new and experienced cachers. Often
we only know fellow cachers by their online presence. Here is a
chance to put a face or faces to that geocaching name in
person.
While no one particular
location will serve all cachers in NW Ohio
perfectly,Bowling Green
was chose as the best location between our regular Meet & Eat
locations for this special NWOGEO M&E event.
You are also welcome also bring
Travel Bugs/Coins to these events to log and swap.
Like our two usual monthly
M&E Events, we intend for this event to be held at a
comfortable, bright, and conveniently located restaurant with good
self serve food, plus Wireless Internet services
(WiFi).
This means that you can bring
your laptop or other WiFi device, and show everyone a caching or
mapping program you like, or pictures from a caching expedition, or
the cache page for a great cache that you think everyone would
like. You can even bring your caching and technology questions with
you, and our caching and computer gurus in attendance may be able
to offer advice. There are people in our group that have info on
caching and mapping software as well as Geocaching.com insight,
website HTML, programming, and wireless networking.
If you have any questions, post
a note here on the page and someone will happily answer
it. |

| DIRECTIONS |
• Coordinates at the top of this page are for
the public parking at the rear of building.
• Panera is located on the east side of Main St, six buildings
south from the intersection of Main and Wooster.
• Main St runs north/south and is Ohio RT-25, Wooster runs
east/west and is Ohio RT-105 and RT-64.
• Limited parking is available on Main St. The rear parking lot
must be entered from S. Prospect St off of Wooster. See maps
below. |
