Zvu Vás na procházku do malinkého
parcíku na okraji mesta Hradec Králové.
Ješte pred pár lety tu byla nelákavá
bažina zarostlá krovím, dnes je ale
všechno jinak.
Mesto park vycistilo a upravilo a nyní se tu dá
strávit docela pekná a klidná hodinka (hlavne
s detmi); nejkrásneji je tu samozrejme na jare a v
léte. V parku najdete lavicky, skluzavku, jednoduchý
kolotoc a pár dalších detských
prolézacek, z nichž nekteré jsou pomerne
neobvyklé. Nejvetší atrakcí jsou ale
dve jezírka, kde se shromažduje relativne velké
hejno divokých kachen. Tedy, kachny už jsou to
spíše jen polodivoké, nebot je sem
chodí krmit cím dál více tatínku
a maminek s malými detmi - doporucuji tedy nezapomenout si
také nejaký ten chleba ci housku. (V zime za kacenky
nerucím :-) , ale v den umístení cache na vode
byly (23.1.2007).)
Parcík je oblíbený i mezi pejskari,
kterí sem chodí se psy behat. Ti se ale
pohybují v jiné cásti parku a do míst s
kachnami a detskými atrakcemi neprijdou.
Zajímavostí je také nekolik druhu
exotických stromu roztroušených po
parku.
Nedaleko se nachází sokolovna a fotbalové
hrište.
Doprava je možná (krome klasické
peší procházky, kola a auta) i vlakem ci MHD.
V tesné blízkosti parku je železnicní
stanice Hradec Králové - Slezské
predmestí a konecná linek MHD 3, 5, 6, 12, 14, 23 a
27. (Nekteré spoje 5, 12, 14, 23 a 27 výjimecne
pokracují dál.)
Tato cache je pojmenována na pocest mé dcery Anicky.
Park jsme objevili chvíli po jejím narození
pri procházkách s kocárkem a dnes (o
témer tri roky pozdeji) sem spolu casto chodíme
kacenky krmit.
Jelikož je tato cache zamýšlena primárne
jako tip na procházku pro rodinky, ani
umístení schránky není snad nijak
složité a nebude vás príliš
trápit.
Cache jsem zvolil vetší a naplnil jí mnoha
dárecky pro vetší i menší, tak
snad Vám udelá radost a nezustane
prázdná.
Prosím pozor na muddly! - nekdy bývá park
pustý, ale obcas je tam i hodne plno.
Preji hezkou procházku!
POZN. pro GeoCachery v léte: je možné
jí vyzvednout i ukrýt bez popálení
koprivami.

(PS: Tato tradicni cache byla založena i proto, aby trochu
vyrovnala skore mezi tradicnimi cachemi a multicachemi v Hradci. V
dobe jejího založení tu byla jen jediná
tradicní cache a pak spoustu multicachí.
Všechny multicache jsou moc pekné a dobre
udelané a v podstate provedou
návštevníka všemi
nejkrásnejšími místy mesta.
Myslím ale, že je dobré mít tu i
pár cachí tradicních pro geocachery,
kterí mestem jen projíždejí a
nemají tolik casu.)

I'd like to invite you to a walk in a small little park on the
outskirts of the town of Hradec Kralove.
A few years ago there was an unattractive scrubby swamp. Now -
cleared and cleaned - it's become a place where one can spend an
enjoyable and refreshing hour - especially with kids. Naturally,
the place is most beautiful in spring and summer.
In the park you will find benches, a kids slide, a roundabout and a
few other children's attractions. Nevertheless, the greatest
attraction of this park are its two small artificial lakes where a
flock of wild ducks usualy gather. (Well, the ducks are now rather
semi-wild as more and more fathers and mothers are coming here with
their children and feed the ducks - so I recommend you to take some
bread for them as well.) (In winter the ducks' presence is not
guaranteed :-) but on the day this cache was placed they were
there. (1/23/2007))
The park is popular with dog-owners too - they come here to play
with their dogs. However, they use a different part of the park for
it so they are far from both the children and the ducks.
You can also find some quite exotic trees scattered over the
park.
There are a football pitch and a gymnasium in vicinity.
Getting to the spot (apart from traditional walking, cycling or
driving) is also possible by train or a city bus. Just round the
corner there are a railway station 'Hradec Kralove - Slezske
Predmesti' and a city bus terminal for lines 3, 5, 6, 12, 14, 23
and 27. (Some (few) of the buses No. 5,12,14,23,27 do not finish
here but stop only and then continue.)
This cache is named in honour of my daughter Anna. We discovered
the park shortly after her birth during our walks with the pram
(baby coach). Now, almost three years later, we still come here
together to feed the ducks. (By the way, she is certain that the
ducks remember her and miss her when she's not there.)
As this cache is primarily ment to be a suggestion for a pleasant
family walk, the location of the cache is intentionally
predictable. You should be able to discover the box without the
Additional Hint. The Hint is there for geocachers who do not have a
GPS locating device or for those who just don't have their lucky
day.
I decided for a bigger cache container and filled it with gifts for
kids as well as adults so I hope you will like it and I hope it
won't ever get empty.
Please beware of muggles! - the park is often deserted but
sometimes it can get a bit crowded.

(Note: One of the reasons this cache was planted was to help to
balance the ratio between traditional caches and multi ones in
Hradec Kralove. In the time of its founding there was only one
traditional cache in the town and many multi caches.
The multi caches are all very well done and will show you the
nicest places in the town. However, some traditional ones can be
good for visiting geocachers with not-so-much time.)
