San Antonio Geocaching

It's a sunny, warm, summer afternoon. (Work with me here, folks.) Feeling patriotic, you've decided that it would be a good idea to visit dear old Mom and watch a baseball game together. Just after getting nice and settled in, Mom turns to you and says "You know what I could go for? Some apple pie. Would you be a dear and WHY DID YOU SWING AT THAT YOU IDIOT?!?! and run down to the bakery for me? There's a special pie waiting to be picked up." After taking a moment to let your eardrums recuperate, you ask Mom just what sort of "special pie" she's talking about.

"Oh, it's really the best," she says. "The thing is, you'll need to STRIKE?? WHAT DO YOU MEAN, STRIKE?! COME ON!! you'll need to find it outside the bakery." Moving to a safer distance, you again ask for more details. Mom fishes out a piece of paper from the side table and shoves it in your hand. "That's all the info you should need," she says, quickly followed by "HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF CATCHING THE BALL??"

You look at the paper for a moment, then turn back to Mom, but she's totally into the game now. No way you'll get her back until the seventh inning stretch at least. Maybe the best thing is to try to figure out what the heck the writing on the paper means. It reads:

"Your pie is located at the following coordinates:

N xx xx.xxx
W 0yy yy.yyy

You will find the x's beginning at position 20,441,150 and the y's beginning at position 11,783,275."

Well that doesn't help much. Or does it? After a bit of thinking, it may finally dawn on you just where those coordinates are hidden. Once you know where to look, the pie will be easy for the taking. Better hurry, though. It looks like a pretty good game is shaping up, and you wouldn't want to miss the quality time with Mom. Go find out what this "pie" stuff is all about, and get back in time to see whether the home team deserves all that rooting after all!
