the cache is hidden near garden highway in southeastern yuba city, but not at the above-listed coordinates. to determine the location of the hide, you must identify 15 dams in california. you will need an extraction device (arm extender) in order to retrieve the cache.
1. on bear river in yuba county, completed in 1963
2. on cache creek in lake county, completed in 1976
3. on feather river, tallest dam in the u.s.
4. 23 miles NE of sacramento, 340 feet high, completed in 1955
5. lake behind l.l. anderson dam on middle fork of american river
6. plumas county river that flows into lake behind canyon dam (1927)
7. on the tujunga wash in l.a. county, completed in 1940
8. authorized in 1965 (construction halted in 1975), it was to be about 800 feet high, on the american river
9. on stony creek in tehama county, completed in 1963
10. on alamitos creek in santa clara county, completed in 1935
11. on lost river in modoc county completed in 1910
12. completed in 1942, it gave rise to millerton lake
13. on the fresno river in madera county, completed in 1974
14. on the mokelumne river in san joaquin and calaveras counties, 1963
15. proposed 813 foot high dam on klamath river; it was supposed to divert water to sacramento river and southern california
