Access to the cache location starts on a good dirt road but ends in a 4WD track and this is the reason for the terrain rating. Dont be fooled into trying it in a 2WD especially if its wet!
You need to be quick in the mid north areas these days.
This was originally to be a multi cache starting from the Julia Creek Police M,onument however before I could get it approved the locals already had a cache there! So its now a relatively easy drive-by instead, but still along a fun road.
I can imagine the troopers riding up here regularly to keep a watch on the surrounding area.
While your in the area you might also like to visit "HALT! Who Goes There?" GC10JZR, find out some more of the interesting history of this area and grab another smiley.
Cache is a tube containing an assortment of swaps, logbook & pencil
Update 30/12/2013:
Access from the East has now been fenced and gated. It is still accessible however will require a bit of a walk on the Heysen trail.
Access from the west is still possible by 4WD
