There are literally no people in Gudeliai to show you the hillfort.
A friend of mine questioned nearly everybody, but had no luck
locating it. Now with coords provided it is way easier.
The hillfort was used for defence mid 1st millenium through the
beginning of the 2nd millenium. Winter time is the best time to
visit it. You won't be able to see typical hillfort shape through
the summer greens.
Get your skies or a bicycle or have a great weekend hike in a nice
park between Karoliniskes and Pilaite. There are plenty of
comfortable to ride packed snow paths, no any special
bicycle gear required should you decide to ride there in winter.
Watch for loose dogs though.
The cache is a small plastic container initially loaded with a
logbook, a couple of pencils, some coins, a compass and a set of
light reflectors as swag. It is kinda tough to hide it in winter
time, please place the container back into the plastic camo bag
after you are through. To make your search easier, follow a fresh
bicycle track on the snow
