This cache is a simple, fairly easy and traditional cache placed to commemorate the 2000th cache of our friend Panther in the Den. The container is a 50 cal. Ammo box painted gold with some organizational tools enclosed, for PiD is forever organizing everything.
The Panther has long been a good friend; he is the fearless and undisputed leader of the League of Extraordinary Geocachers (LEGs), the creative force behind many unique and fascinating caches, such as the “I Love Chicago” series, “The Chicago Boulevard “ series, and “Can Can”.
Panther in the Den is a true caching enthusiast, always available: for tech help with your computer or GPSr, advice or ideas on where or how to place a cache, on either end of his “phone a friend system” (and he has many), or to just go caching!
So stop by, pick through the goodies, and don’t forget to give a Hootie Hoo to old Panther in the Den.
