Are You a Good Little Cacher? Traditional Cache
CyclingFool: This area is now being logged heavily. Cache was still there, but I don't know the plans for this area. Do to all the activity and the fact that I no longer work in Holland, I am archiving this one. Container has been removed. Thanks to all who visited.

Are You a Good Little Cacher?

Cache is a peanut butter jar. Please park along Productions Drive. There are pickers and some Poison Ivy, but choose a smart path and you can mostly avoid them.
It seems to me that many cachers don't bother reading the cache page before they go looking for a cache. It is often consulted only when a cacher is stuck. To a large extent, this is because many folks have automated part of the process. The pocket query arrives and gets dumped into GSAK or some other program, which in turn dumps the coordinates to the GPSr. Cachers grab the GPSr and off they go. Automation is fine, as long as you still read the cache page before going after a cache. Those who don't are BAD little cachers.
It is important to read the cache page. There may be areas you should avoid so landscaping is not damaged. There may be private property nearby that you should avoid. Parking instructions are common - like with this cache. The cache owner may be trying to communicate a theme or idea with the cache, something that is totally missed if the cache page is not read. Those who do read the cache page are GOOD little cachers.
This cache will identify the good little cachers and the bad little cachers. Inside the back cover of the log book, there is a simple instruction that you must follow. If you follow it, we'll see that you are a good little cacher. If you didn't read this cache page, you won't know to check inside the back cover of the log book, you'll miss the instruction, and we'll see that you are a bad little cacher. If you are logging a DNF or posting a note, you obviously didn't see the log book so judgment will be withheld in these cases.
So have fun … and be good little cachers!
