Geocache Description:


As the Geo Pup, Shadowfax, has done a lot of geocaching with us, we thought we would introduce you to some of his favorite off leash dog parks in the inner city.



This is our dog’s favorite park. It stretches over a kilometer in length, has some great views of downtown and the Elbow River and is usually filled with interesting dogs and people to meet. There is a people and dog fountain in the center, dedicated to an active rescue person who perished in a fire trying to rescue her dogs. Take time to explore the whole park! You may have to wait a bit for the muggles and dogs to clear before finding the cache. There is a bench to rest and sign the log to the east from the cache site to the fence. From there you can watch the bow river. In the summer you can see people rafting by and frequently can watch dogs fetching sticks in the river.
We'd like to see some pictures of your dogs posted with your log. Happy hunting ... or should we say happy sniffing it out. Beware of muggles.
