CARW2007 - John Bunyan Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache was placed for Edmonton’s
winter edition of the successful CAR2006 event. This event
involves hiding a cache during the time leading up to the
CAR-event, finding CAR-caches over the designated 24 hour
period (February 16-17, 2007) These CAR caches should not
be sought out until 5:30 pm, Friday February 16th. (See
GC1085X.)
This is almost a drive up cache, easily
accessible while traveling either direction between Edmonton
and Fort Saskatchewan.
It was placed in honor of Paul Bunyan's younger brother John who,
although not as big as Paul, was still large, like this cache.
This is a camouflaged 5-gallon bucket hidden in some spuce and fir
trees. The trees are small and the cache is large, but it is well
concealed and should remain safe if replaced where it was
originally placed.
There is some good swag but still plenty of room to place those
large items you've been wanting a place for.
Enjoy!
