George has been hoping to place a cache in this area for some time. The inspiration came while the Seahawks were taking their best shot in Chicago against Da Bears. George was out and about in the Geowagon after dropping off daughter Judy at a classmate's house to work on a school project. A dead end street and a trail were just too much for George.
The cache was placed at High Noon on a bright Winter's day. After a short walk from the parking coordinates George and Elroy headed due south on the trail and squinted as the Sun blazed down upon them. After a few minutes they passed a local landmark...how did "they" get that there? The hide location was now very close and Elroy led the way as he and George bushwhacked the last few feet.
George spotted several deer just off to the West! Although there are many trails cris-crossing the area it is still undeveloped and is a friendly home to wildlife. Homes above and businesses below encroach on the area, but it resists their intrusions. At last the hide location was reached, only a short distance from the Northern boundary of the local gun club property. Don't be startled if you should hear the echoes of shotguns, rifles or pistols being fired as you close in. You will be safe...
Of course the container is a 50 caliber ammo can. Nothing else would be appropriate. Original contents played on the "take your best shot" theme. Sun glasses as eye protection. A camera (trading item). A Foosball game. A photo album. The "Homer" travel bug, and the 2005 Geocoin #1.
You should find it if you truly give it your best shot.
There is absolutely no need to move any of the flora or fauna in order to find this cache.
