This cache has been archived.

Sir PhilPamAndRob: Went after work and had a good look by torch, and spotted npothing.
As I didn't get up this way as much as in the past, decided to archive rather than replace

Geocache Description:

I've driven past this place numerous times when going between Liverpool and Southport, but have never previously stopped. Usually it's a quick sideways glance, or if I'm lucky the traffic lights are on red and I can have a longer look, but today I stopped and had a proper browse, and it's worthy of a cache.

Park in Bankfield St (N 53 26.140 W 002 59.756) and walk the short distance to the cache. Resist the temptation to climb up top as that will not lead you to the cache. To find the magnetic micro you need to be forward near The Atlantic Avenue. It only contains a log & pencils plus an FTF certificate.

It is child friendly (even being on rubberised flooring like playgrounds) and although set well back, its near to a busy main road. As it's close to the docks it's better to visit this cache during daylight (though it should also be alright at night)

Hope you enjoy you visit, and it may bring back some childhood memories for you like "When I was a boy I wanted to be..."
