Easy hike along the horse trail or Bidwell Canyon Road. Finding the cache will require a little effort.
The cache is between the horse trail and Bidwell Canyon Road. The closest parking is at the park toll booth but if you want to be sure they don’t charge you for entering the park, park your car along Arroyo Drive and walk in on the horse trail (this is a more scenic route anyway). The cache is a clear 2.5” X 11” paint ball pod with a special camouflage coat. It contains a few trinkets and a log book. This is a nice mostly level trail for an easy stroll. It is well used by horses and you can see the lake and house boats as you walk along. The trees may confuse your GPS some. I took three readings and there was some variation. This is one of four caches placed along here to make it well worth the hike.
