Arago Peak Traditional Cache

Seldom-visited area with incredible vistas up and down the coast. Elevation gain about 600 feet.
Start this hike at Cape Arago State Park. The GPS might lead to you believe it's under a mile, but don't believe it. Locate the pack trail and follow that uphill a mile or so to the top of the ridge. When the main trail turns left, you'll want to follow the lesser trail right. Now just let the GPS lead you south along the ridge. After a walk along an alder-lined trail, you'll make a short climb up an old roadbed to the top of Arago Peak.
There are a couple of other caches along the way and a benchmark you can locate and log also. Cache is in a large plastic jar. First finder can claim the FF Ribbon.
