Hiway 97--Satus Summit Traditional Cache
Rock Rabbit: This cache appears to be missing and the location is on Yakama Reservation land where geocaches cannot be placed without explicit permission from the tribe. Our maps were not as good when this cache was published and we missed it being inside the reservation boundary.

I decided that the long stretch between Goldendale and the Yakima Valley needed some caches. This is a "Trucker Friendly" cache along Hiway 97. The cache is along the northbound lane. Good parking for big rigs within 100 yards of the cache.
PArking area not developed nor maintained. Use caution in snow or wet weather. This is a small cache, a camoed vitamin bottle, containing a log and pencil. Small trade items are possible.
