Thanx to rockharder for some of those interesting drinks i've never heard of. Thanx goes out to everyone else aswell for making it a better night then I could have hoped for. Anywho hopefully the caches that were placed that day will be made permanent. Im in the middle converting the co-ordinates. Thanx again and good caching!.

Geocache Description:

You are cordially invited to come to Mississauga to help me celebrate my birthday and enjoy some cache Finds, Fellowship and Food!

BIRTHDAY BASH/MEMORIAL DINNER

thankyou everyone for the great night and awesome drinks;) really was surprized to hear about the responces to my temporary caches. It seems as though I need to contact cache tech and pull some strings. Anyways had a great night and enjoyed seeing everyone old and new, it has been way too long. Not only was this my first event but it was a big learning experience for me. I have never been able to use my gps to this extent so its taught me what to do and what not to do in situations from now on;) as most of you found out in the morningXD. Thanx again.

important Change!!!

set gps's to nad27canada the co-ordinates will be way out if this is not done. Sorry for the trouble i Didnt even notice the simple mistake hopefully I caught you all on time. If you need to get ahold of me the best way is at 647-267-1701

bonus cache stage 1 has been altered. You no longer need to bring 4.5 2 letre bottles of water with you. The bottles will be at the cache and you will need to fill them yourself at a nearby water source *hint hint*. As for the rest everything is in order and i hope to see a good turn out tommorrow. Good caching

Cache stage has been muggled and complelty destroyed. Co-ordinates have changed and have been recorded in the final cache logbook.

2 letre bottles are hidden around the bonus stage 1 cache please return to spot after use(4 in total).

Date: April 28th 2007

Location: Drake and Firkin 6982 Financial Drive, Mississauga

Time: Temporary event caches will be available by 8:00 AM, social activities at the Pub begin at 6:00PM (for you army time people 1800 hours).

Children are welcome

This pub night will be my first ever event cache. It is to celebrate my birthday, since I have just turned 19, and as we teens like to call it, legal drinking age (probably only able to handle two or 3 beers anyways, and definitely will not be driving ). This night I'll be thinking about my dad, the late 1701eh, Tony Dawe. I never would have been able to get as far as I have without him. I wish he were here to celebrate this milestone in my life. I'm sure he’s touched some of you in special ways as well. I’ll be raising a toast to my dad's memory and would invite you to join me in remembering him.

On another note, here's the details for the days events! Keep watching this page for more updates as we get closer.

DAYS EVENTS

Temporary Event Caches: A series of 6 separate caches and a seventh final cache will be placed for this event. In addition, for those who finish the series, a 2 stage bonus cache will also be placed. The coordinates for the first cache in the series will be posted on this page by 8:00 AM on Saturday morning . The first cache will contain worksheets containing the coordinates for the next 5 caches. These caches are micro micro film canisters (yes I said micro micro), each hold a piece of paper with a lock combination piece and a fragment of the final coordinates. Make sure to mark down both the combination fragment and the final coordinate fragment at each cache. The tracking sheets provided in the first cache will allow you to record the information you need, so make sure you bring a writing implement. The final is secured with 2 combination locks, but the order you obtain the numbers may not match the combination required. Inside the lid of the final cache, you will find coordinates for the 2 stage bonus cache. Inside the bonus final cache, you will find numbered envelopes that can be redeemed for prizes at the social portion of the event. Please only take one envelope per team in order to allow others to share in the swag. Note that you will need 4.5 2 litre pop bottles of water (just to be safe)to complete the first stage of the bonus cache. Please read instructions posted on the cache container before doing anything at the first stage.

A travel bug station will be set up as well so feel free to drop whatever you got in the box.

The location of the first cache will be listed HERE by 8 AM on the morning of the pub event.
