Geocache Description:

This cache name refers to the character in the story “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” by Dr. Seuss. This cache is another in the series that will pay tribute to one of my favorite children’s authors, Dr. Seuss. We read this book every year at Christmas and watch the television special, but it is one that can be enjoyed any time of year.

~~ THE LISTED COORDS ARE NOT CORRECT ~~

In order to get the coords for the cache, you will have to answer a few questions about the story. Once you get your answers, plug it into this formula to get the final coords. For this puzzle, assume that a=1, b=2, c=3, d=4, etc.

The final coords are:

N 35° 22.abc W 077° 59.def

Good Luck!

A = the first letter of the little girl’s name in the book – 2

B = After seeing the towns people sing on Christmas Day – even after he had stolen all their presents – how many sizes did the Grinch’s heart grow? That number +1 = B

C = The 3rd digit in the year that Dr. Seuss completed this book.

D = The number of letters in the town name that the Grinch lives close to. This is the town that he stole from.

E = The number of letters in the name of the Grinch’s dog X 2

F = At the beginning of the story, how many sizes too small was the Grinch’s heart?

You will be looking for a nano container. Day time hours only! There could be lots of muggles around so please be stealthy.

Note: For those who cache with children, there is a really nice playground nearby,
