Geocache Description:

I’m a certified flight instructor, and this is a series of caches with an aviation theme. There are 8 caches in the series, hence the name. This one is located on the east side of Palmer Lake Park in Brooklyn Park. Trailhead, with on-street parking, is at N45:05.245, W93:18.625. This cache is approved by the BP Recreation and Parks Department.

You’re searching for a camo’d cylindrical plastic jar about 4” in diameter and 10” tall. The top does not unscrew; simply use a little muscle to pop it off. Original contents: $1 for the first finder and a sheet of temporary tattoos for the kids.

The Aerospatiale-BAC Concorde was one of only two commercial supersonic airliners (the other was the Tupolev Tu-144). The Concorde was introduced in January 1976 and was retired in November 2003. It carried 100 passengers at Mach 2.04 (1,350 mph), and flew regularly from London and Paris to New York. The Concorde set many records, including a flight between London and New York that took just under 2 hours and 53 minutes.
