Fairly easy drive up that is close to parking. Make sure you park in Visitor Parking if you come between 8 AM and 5 PM on weekdays.
Behind the fence is the epicenter for the largest swimming club in the USA. DAM (Davis Aquatic Masters) has over 600 member who hold many age group records. At least one member that DaveX (the original CO for this cache) met there has swum the English Channel. The head coach gives great inexpensive clinics every spring and fall for the four intermural strokes.
