Come Visit Ebenezer Cemetery
Ebenezer Cemetery, A final resting place of a small group of Delawarians who helped build the local community. This old church is a joining of two religious groups, The Methodist & the Episcopal Church. A small group in central Delaware decided to start a small community church that would fit the needs of the locals. They found a joining of two groups that met their needs. The ME church was just what they needed.
Often to see how a local area is built, you need to see the groups of people that actually built and led the community. Grave yards are a great way to learn who was around way back then. Many local families are represented, Caulk, Toulsen, Tolson, Hopkins and others.
The cache is located near the gravesites of many hardworking families of the local area. Use caution in the area as there may be broken glass, discarded household items, and other obstacles to be dealt with. The container is a blue 30. cal ammo can with items that relate to the local area.
Please restore the cache site as you found it. If you can, this would be a great place to do some CITO, also visit the graves nearby and take a look back into history!!!
