A traditional cache located near the war memorial at Olivers Mount Scarborough
Olivers Mount is mainland Britain's only natural "roads" circuit. It was the place I first saw my boyhood hero, the late great Barry Sheene, race.
Take the time to have a drive around the circuit (It's a public road on non race days). As you drive round remember the Lap Record is 1 min 45 Secs for the 2.4 mile circuit, an average of 82.67 MPH. On race days the cache will be inaccessible.
Also have a walk over to the War Memorial for possibly the best view of the town
This area is well used, please take care when replacing the cache.
Cache container has now been changed to an Ammo box, because it's nice to find a real cache.
Not anymore because some thieving Geocacher decided it would be easier to steal mine than source his/her own
