The Great Cache Cow Race (and Meet and
Greet)
Let's get ready to Rumble!!! We will
be meeting at Tie Breaker Park in Hopkinsville (weather permitting)
and then after some food and fun, head out on the Great Cache Cow
Race.
VS. 
When I attended my first event last
year, I picked up on a not so subtle hint that there was a little
bit of friendly rivalry between the KTAG and River Valley groups.
What a way to settle this once and for all! We will meet around
1:00 PM for a potluck lunch. I will be providing plates, forks,
napkins, etc. if everyone else will bring a dish to share and their
own drinks. (Non-alcoholic, please)
After our little meet and greet, we will divide into our
respective teams. Those of you that are members of both groups, you
have to choose! For each team a series of 6 caches will be placed
around Hopkinsville for you to find. These are all of our favorite
types of caches including Lame Micros, Evil Hides, Ammo Cans with
Goodies, and even a Puzzle Cache. The caches must be found in
order. The 7th and final cache will be the same for both teams and
whichever team finds it first can claim to be the winners! The
Royal Bug Family will stay at the park with cell phones ready to
give hints if you get stuck. All 13 of the caches will become
permanent caches for Hopkinsville and you will be able to log them
as finds!
We really hope to see as many cachers from this area at the
event! Even if you are not a member of either group, you are very
welcome to come and pick a group to run the race with!
