The Nutcase finale
The last of Nof junior's "you'd have to be a nut case to try that" cache.
The other eight caches in the series:
Alpha 2 Nutcase (GC180QV)
Epsilon Nutcase (GC10PAD)
Iota Nutcase (GC108Z6)
Nu Nutcase (GC10P9A) (Now archived - the number is 2)
Pi Nutcase (GC10A8J) (Now archived - the number is 5)
Rho Nutcase (GC1066Z) (Now archived - the number is 1)
Sigma Nutcase (GC105M9) (Now archived - the number is 8)
Tau Nutcase (GC1091F)
each have the question "Why is there a number inside the front cover of the log book?".
The answer is "So you can attempt the puzzle below"
The cache is not hidden at the co-ordinates above! (Would be quite nutty, but not much cover to hide it in!)
The degrees and whole minutes are, however, correct. But the decimal portions of the minutes need to be calculated from this info:
South 4167247 x 32267 x 4167 - 4388317
East (3547 + 327 + 327 + 3547) x 4167247 + 53243
In preparation you'd best be ready for a bit of nu, a lot of iota and a full helping of rho!
The cache is an ammo can containing the usual log book and pen as well as a few trading items. There are also two movie tickets for the FTF - figured you'd need a relaxing evening after completing the series.
Feel free to e-mail if you'd like to check your puzzle solution before heading out.
