It’s an event after the big annual Texas Challenge event. Come
share your TB’s and your coins. We can share our experiences from
the event as well. Newbie’s and old cacher’s welcomed. We will show
you how to discover coins with special icons and add TB’s to your
inventory page, if you haven’t done so already.
Its time we go to Mesquite again. I do not know if others
remember the last event there but the caches have increased and
changed in this area. Old caches have been replaced with new ones
and the good ones prevail. I understand the day of the event
numberous new caches should be released.
The time is 9:00 am – Noonish. We have a big private room
that will hold at least 75 people at Ryan’s. Come for
breakfast and/or finish up with lunch. Buffet is $7.99 adult; $6.99
senior; $4.99 children plus drink cost. You early birds can grab a
few caches before breakfast (I understand there should be a few new
ones out) and work up an appetite 1st.
Presently there are three major hiders in the Mesquite area:
drives (does the Famous People Series), Team Oxford, and
TexasTornados. There is the newest hider in the area fatfogy. They
each have a unique hiding style. Check out the list on my unusual
favorites in the area. From that list one may look for the closest
ones they wish to seek.
Also close by is Samuell Farm off Highway 80, that the kids
would love and could almost spend a day of just caching here.
To help with discovering of coins, those with a list please bring
it plus extra’s if possible to help speed the process of
discovering for the others. I dream that lots of icons and smilies
pop up because of this event. So just take a trip down to Tripp Rd
and Galloway for this adventure
