Can be muddy along the route depending on the weather, starts off along coast path so becareful of letting the children and animals off the lead!!! It is fairly well fenced off.If you walk to cache and turn back the way you came it is 3km total.
Please be aware I am currently refurbing my cache after not visiting it myself for many years, The box is currently a little damp...but will be sorted in the next few days.
Park in the Smugglers Inn car park at Osmington, N 50.38.097 W 002.22.559. Walk in and around the back of the pub and follow the COAST path.Along the route you will have great veiws of Weymouth and Portland.If you look carefully you will also see remains of an old ship wreck.Walk for appox 1km Watch out for the turning by the 'stone marker'.
Once you have found the cache carry on up the path and through the fields,this then loops back around bringing you back to the pub!! Takes appox 1 and a half hours to complete.
Then cache contains..CD,rubbers,dvd,animal figures bat and ball(small),tin pot and a rubber person.
PLEASE be aware during the wrong time of year there maybe stinging nettles in the area...
