The treasure chest (small lock and lock)cache is behind the Rocky Mount Parks and Recreation ropes course. There is a way in without going through the course.
This is a seed cach and contains treasure (small cache containers) for you to place as a new cache. The intent is for you to spread ecpirate's treasure around. Try to be creative when you place your new cache and feel free to alter the treasure piece. THIS IS NOT A TRADING CACHE. You no have to bring anything as you do not have to leave anything except your signature on the log and post a note on the cache page in geocaching.com that you have taken some treasure. PLEASE ONLY TAKE ONE.
LIST OF CONDITIONS TO GET A FIND:
1. Locate the ecpirate's Treasure Chest Cache or have been
present at ecpirate's 1K event where you were given one.
2. Take a piece of treasure from the cache or the event.
3. Post a note on the cache page that you have taken a piece of the treasure and the color of your treasure.
4. Hide your treasure piece.
5. List your cache on geocaching.com in accordance with the guidelines, read the guidelines for reporting a cache.
6. Once your cache is approved post your "found it" log, and include the cache name and GC number. This will give you credit for a find.
About the coins listed as being in the treasure chest. As you know it has been said that a pirate does keep his treasure in a chest. Well, I have listed my coins here but you will not find them in the chest. I have them hidden elsewhere. If you see an icon you like let me know and I will send you the tracking. heh heh heh
