This location is part of the Durfee Hill Wildlife Management
Area. Parking co-ordinates are 41°55.241, 71°44.304 which is on
the left side of Route 44 heading west before the George
Washington Campground. There is ample off-road parking. The hike
is about 1 mile round-trip on a dirt
road.
There is an interesting waterfall on the left before the reservoir;
probably the remnants of a water-powered mill for which the
reservoir was built.
