This is a spot with some pretty significant history as well as great beauty. Mind the pesky sandflys!
The cache is located in close proximity to a sign detailing how to spot remains of a historic Maori settlement. The is also infomation about the local historic building and another sign regarding the wild life. This is a cool spot, let me know how the surf is!!
The cache is a regular 1 litre camo. It contained log, balloons, keyring, bouncy ball and annoying noisy McDonalds toy when hidden.
