Geocache Description:

A chance to see The Deer - Again!

Replacement for Deer Stalking, which was sadly muggeled. This is one of our regular Ammo boxes placed so that you can get a good view across the Epping Forest Deer Sanctuary.
Park at N51 39.846 E0 04.854 and follow the footpath up through the forest to the hiding place. Be warned - if it has rained heavily the path can become extremely muddy and may be impassable.
As you get close to the cache take a look to the right through the fence an you can see across the Deer Sanctuary. If you are lucky you should see the herd of deer and maybe a stag as well.
