A clifftop cache close to Sheringham in North Norfolk. A bit of a climb, but not strenuous, and quite safe.
Beeston Hump, like the rest of this coastal strip, is made of stuff dumped at the last ice-age, when the glacier reached as far as the Holt-Cromer Ridge. I suggest you park in Sheringham, and walk the half-mile or so to the cache site. You can park a bit closer (eg outside the putting green), but you will have some walking to do. Please be careful near the cliff edge, especially with pets or children. This is a popular area with walkers, so please try not to let Geo-muggles see you get or replace the cache. This might require some patience on a Sunday in August! After achieving your goal, you must climb to the top of the hump to admire the views. Who says Norfolk is flat?
