2007 NCGO TRIANGLE CITO EVENT
Spring is upon us and another CITO is here. This year NCGO will sponsor the CITO in Harris Lake County Park event. This is a favorite park of many area geocachers, ourselves included. We have been invited, like last year, to be part of the Earth Day celebration at HLCP and we will again have a booth. CITO will begin at 8 a.m. Please follow the parking instructions and meet at the NCGO booth. After the CITO, volunteers will be asked to man the NCGO booth that wll have a display of geocaching stuff. We will have sodas, water and doughnuts available at our booth, to build up your strength for the CITO.
We have been asked to clean up the barbed wire and tin roofing at the fishing pond and the upper smaller pond areas. The Womble Homestead area has plenty of glass bottles, tin and tires that needs collecting, also. Bring gloves if you have them and wire cutters. Don't wear your best clothing, we have a lot of trash to remove. Please check back often as this page will change with all the up-dated information on this year's event.
