On the Little River Rail Trail.
Suggested: Take a well stocked picnic basket and park at Catons Bay (S43.47.390, E172.45.496). This is a nice little picnic area beside the lake about 3km south of Little River, with tons of birdlife around. From there the cache is a 2.2km walk/jog/bike/swim/kayak South along the Rail Trail. The track is a wide gravel path, but at the cache site the footing is a little more tricky.
Be wary of the water if you have young children with you.
Alternative: Drive straight to the cache site. Be very careful of traffic as the road is busy and parking is limited.
Cache is a 1L clear sistema container, invisible from 0m.
(There are a couple of other caches along the rail trail you could do to make a day of it.)
