Geocache Description:

Introduction to Geocaching

TAO- The Adventure Outfitters and The Atlantic Canada Geocaching Association will be conducting the following workshop entitled: Introduction to Geocaching. This will be a 2 hour session where geocachers of all experience level are welcome to attend this workshop, and/or bring along someone new to the activity.

Date: February 21st, 2007

Location: TAO (The Adventure Outfitters)

Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

The Introduction to Geocaching session will be directed to people recently involved in geocaching, or those looking to get involved. The following topics will be discussed:

Terminology
How to get started
Things to remember
Before you go out
GPS overview
Trackables
Types of caches
Type of cachers

Afterwards a gathering will take place on-site to talk about geocaching. A number of items will be on display including:

cammoflage techniques
geocaching accessories
geocoins
