I came across this location one evening while taking a different route home. Intrigued, I stopped by to check it out. I'm a sucker for inspirational quotes and hope you enjoy this place too. Now that the area has been refreshed, it's a great stop while the sun is up or afterwards to appreciate the lighting. The cache is available any time the park is open (8am-10:30pm).
Congrats to Shadow Ace for the FTF!
About the Location (Taken from Sunstone Update, January 2004)
This Plaza and walkway are the gift of Richard and Annette Bloch who have plans of putting these plaza/parks in every city of the U.S. with over 1 million residents. Richard Bloch of H&R Block, had been diagnosed with terminal cancer several years ago. Through the combination of mainstream medicine and complementary approaches he reached complete remission. The Blochs' intention is for these plazas to be a place of hope, inspiration and peace to cancer survivors and their loved ones. The Plaza was created with vibrant colors and emotionally moving statues and inspiring plaques.
