Geocache Description:

Past the Mt. Ashland Ski Area. In the winter, drive to the end of the road and put out your Snow Park Pass. You will be a couple of miles form the cache. In the summer the road continues closer to the cache. Bring a tool like pliers to open the cache.

This one is pretty easy to spot. It is a tube with a marble or two for those of you that might have lost yours looking for one of my nearby caches. It also has a few of my signature cards. Terrain is a 4 because in the winter you need to snowshoe or cross-country ski in. In the summer, access is less work. On a visit to this cache a week after placing, coordinates showed first 40 feet east, then 35 feet west, so the satellites are a little jumpy in this spot. If you need to use the hint, there are limited places the hint fits, so it should be easy to find. Update: I have changed the difficulty to a 4 because the satellites are so spotty right here. Sometimes you will get within 5 feet and other times you will be off by 10 times that. So depending on your luck with the satellites, you may have to look a while. If you use the hint you may have to try several before you find the right one. And you will now need a tool, like large pliers, to open the top. Take a break and visit my nearby "Back Country Shelter" Waymark. Click on the "User's Web Page" link at the top of this listing for more details.
